What clothing should my child wear for the sports activities?
Your child needs to wear suitable clothing that allows them to take part in physical activities.Â
Does my child need to bring their own drinks for the sessions?
Yes, all children will need to bring their own drinks bottle for the sessions, we will have the facilities to refill drinks bottles.Â
What times & days do the sessions run?
Wednesday

Where do I drop/collect my child from?
When you arrive at Manor Park Primary School please head straight towards the Nursery entrance where our staff will meet you.Â
How long will this project be around for?
The funding provided by the National Lottery Community Fund will allow the project to run until April 2024.
Are all staff DBS checked & first aid trained?
Yes, all SDH Academy staff are DBS checked & Paediatric First Aid trained.Â
What is involved in the Sports Leaders session?
The Sports Leaders Lv2 qualification will run over a 12 month period giving young individuals the opportunity to gain a valuable sports qualification and experience within the industry.Â
Please note: you must be aged 16-18 to attend this session.Â

An open community project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. This project is FREE to attend for all participants and is open to the  local community to attend. There are a variety of sessions on offer, so please select the session that you would like to attend.Â

Schedule:Â
Wednesday (5pm – 6pm / Ages 7 – 11): Multi-sport session.
Thursday (5pm – 6pm / Ages 16 – 18), Sports Leadership Lv2 Training.
All sessions will run until April 2024 (during term time only).

Sport Leaders Qualification: Aimed at young people aged 16-18, this session requires weekly attendance during term time over a 12 month period. Throughout the 12 month period you will complete a Sports Leaders Level 2 qualification giving you an insight & experience in the sports coaching industry. At the end of the qualification you will receive an accredited qualification from Sport Leaders UK.Â
